SPAR International Managing Director Tobias Wasmuht thanked all 350,000 colleagues around the globe and our customers for their support especially during the exceptional times in which the world finds itself, namely the international pandemic, COVID-19 coronavirus.

Recognition was given early on in the COVID-19 outbreak that SPAR is a unique family of retailers in 48 countries who choose to work together and in doing so are better together.

The same appreciation has been shared in messages published on digital channels by the Board of Directors of SPAR Austria, the Chairman of SPAR Ireland and in versions of this LinkedIn message by many other CEO’s and Boards of Directors of SPAR.
