The Festival will see top Irish and European athletes battle it out for glory on the cross-country course and will act as a dress rehearsal for the SPAR European Cross Country Championships, which will take place on the same course on Sunday, 13 December 2020, and of which SPAR is the principal sponsor as part of its ongoing partnership with European Athletics.
Speaking about the race, Colin Donnelly, SPAR Ireland Sales Director, said: “We are delighted to launch the SPAR Cross Country Xperience which will give runners of all levels the opportunity to run on the same course that will host numerous top athletes as they compete for European glory at the 2020 SPAR European Cross-Country Championships.
“We are proud of our association with athletics from the European Championships to recreational races which encourages individuals to get involved in physical activity and perfectly complements our SPAR Better choices message.”
