With the opening of the EUROSPAR Supermarket in the city of Grodno in the north-west of the country, SPAR Belarus is creating growing awareness of the SPAR Brand, gradually expanding the SPAR footprint in the country, with a total of seven stores now open. With a sales surface of 1,100 sqm, this EUROSPAR Supermarket offers high levels of service and an extensive product assortment in a compact, easy-to-shop area. This supermarket has been designed based on the latest retail standards and taking learnings from previous openings.

Since the store opening on 24 October, this fifth EUROSPAR Supermarket has been drawing in large numbers of customers, especially enticed by its delicious food-to-go offering. A tandoor oven where bread, pizzas and delicious meats are prepared, a salad bar where customers can create their own salads by choosing their favourite ingredients and dressings, and a coffee solution with a choice of toppings, can all be found within this EUROSPAR store.

A comfortable seating area provides shoppers with a pleasant environment where they can enjoy their selected meals and drinks purchased instore, use the free Wi-Fi or load their phones using the charging facilities.

On opening day, customers were treated to tastings of freshly prepared SPAR products and could take advantage of special promotional prices. Children were entertained by various attractions such as music, face painting and fruit and veg mascots found in the children’s play area, promoting healthy eating habits.

SPAR Belarus has planned more store openings to take place before the end of this year, continuing to bring the brand to increasing numbers of shoppers already enjoying the SPAR experience in Pinks, Mozyr, Minsk and Grodno.
