Eduard Vonier joins SPAR Hungary’s management team

Eduard Vonier has been appointed as SPAR Hungary’s new Purchasing Director, effective 1 January 2023. Eduard Vonier is an experienced SPAR Austria Manager and his appointment strongly complements SPAR Hungary’s management team.

Eduard Vonier holds a degree in economics and has been working for SPAR since 1995. From 2003 to 2007, he worked at SPAR International in Amsterdam as an international Purchasing Manager before returning to SPAR Austria in 2007 as Senior Category Manager for milk & dairy products and milk substitutes. As Category Manager, he supervised the international licensing for SPAR Own Brands since 2014.

SPAR Hungary’s management team

Since 2017, Gabriella Heiszler has been the Chair of SPAR Hungary’s management board, supported by board member Zsolt Szalay. Eduard Vonier is the latest addition to the management team.
