We recognise that customers not only expect to access quality coffee while on-the-go but also want a lot of choices. SPAR International has two instore coffee solutions covering bean-to-cup and barista offering, building our retailers’ coffee competence and elevating customers coffee experience.

CENSA Coffee solution

The CENSA Coffee solution helps customers celebrate the different coffee moments throughout the day. This SPAR exclusive brand provides SPAR retailers with a premium positioning which is available in three formats – from self-service to barista operated café. The CENSA Coffee solution not only includes the best quality coffee beans, full suite of marketing materials, and exclusive brand name. SPAR International Preferred Suppliers, including Wanzl and Gruppo Cimbali, also guarantee the best-in-class equipment solutions as part of the package.

Recent implementations of this concept can be seen in Moscow, Copenhagen and Riyadh.

As a key element of the concept, SPAR International has developed a unique CENSA Coffee Blend after an extensive coffee bean sourcing and selection process. SPAR CENSA Dark Roast coffee beans are slow-roasted, 100% organic, and Rainforest Alliance certified. The dark roast is available for instore brewing as well as in a consumer retail pack.

Coffee on-the-go

A bean-to-cup solution which has been embraced by SPAR retailers looking to provide a self-service, convenience, own brand offer to customers is our second solution – SPAR Coffee. Retailers can implement this solution for using a full suite of marketing materials while guidelines on placement and staff training ensures consistency and easy adoption by retailers. The high-quality equipment which is inherent to the solution ensures that customers enjoy their bean-to-cup experience. SPAR Coffee can be found in high footfall locations or convenience stores where customers want to quickly access a quality coffee.

As coffee is enjoyed also at home, SPAR offers customers a range of delicious coffee products under our SPAR Own Brand ranges. Our SPAR Natural coffee beans, which are both organic and Fairtrade sourced, are available in both mild roast and dark roast in handy 250g packs. For shoppers looking for sustainable choices, the glass jars in which our SPAR classic and gold instant coffee variants are sold can also be recycled.
