SPAR China partner opens a new store in Beijing

On April 18, SPAR China partner SPAR Jiajiayue celebrated the opening of the SPAR Jiajiayue Beijing Chaoji Heshenghui store, which was designed in collaboration with SPAR International.

The store is located in Chaoji Heshenghui shopping centre in Beijing and spreads across 4,000m2. The retail design was developed in collaboration with SPAR International and brings a modern, innovative feel throughout the store. Spacious aisles, display islands, varied shelving styles and creative product displays are enhanced through the use of colour and lighting. This retail design creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere instore for customers.

Focus on fresh

Instore, the product range is extensive and there is a special focus placed on fresh foods. The fresh assortment includes fruit and vegetables, baked delicacies, as well as a good variety of foodservice options. There is also a boutique which allows customers to choose from a wide range of fresh flowers.

Customers can choose from a range of local and international products. From Italian ice-cream to Jiaodong special flower dumplings, as well as an international selection of wines and a dedicated beer station, the diverse blend of local and international is present throughout the store.

To celebrate the opening, customers could enjoy a range of special discounts, promotions and interactive games.

Digital innovation

The store aims to provide a convenient shopping experience through digital innovations including self checkout, smart weighing scales and the use of electronic shelf labels. Home delivery is also available through the Jiajiayue O2O home delivery service.
