Prof Dr Angelika Berger, head of the Comprehensive Centre for Paediatrics and chairwoman of the association Unser_kind and SPAR Austria Board member Markus Kaser were delighted with the guests’ great commitment.
The Unser_kind association supports research in paediatrics and adolescent medicine, paediatric surgery, child and adolescent psychiatry, obstetrics, and maternal-fetal medicine.
Modern medicine makes it possible to treat children successfully even in the most difficult situations and ensure their survival. Charity-funded projects drive modern medicine’s ongoing development, improving young patients’ health and life quality.
The story of Emma, a little patient who, thanks to the treatment by experts from the Comprehensive Center for Pediatrics at the Vienna General Hospital, not only survived but is able to lead an almost normal life, deeply touched the guests present at the dinner.
