On July 27 a new INTERSPAR Hypermarket opened in Messina, located inside the new Arcieri shopping centre, one of the busiest commercial areas in the city. The hypermarket is a reference point for the shopping needs of those living in the northern part of Messina.

Comprehensive offer

The INTERSPAR Hypermarket is 2,500m2 in size and offers a complete, sustainable shopping experience attentive to the needs of customers. The store presents a rich and convenient assortment, including national brands and many own brand products. There is a large, dedicated space for fresh assortment. This includes a butchery with high-quality meats, gastronomy with a selection of high-quality meats and cheeses, combining national brands with local Sicilian brands. The fresh selection rounds off with a fruit and vegetable range, which includes a wide array of organic and local products. There is also a wine shop located within the INTERSPAR Hypermarket.

Sustainable store

The hypermarket was also built, and now operates, with sustainability in mind. The 140 Kwp photovoltaic system is assisted by high-efficiency LED lighting systems and CO2 industrial refrigeration production systems. These measures ensure a significant reduction in CO2 emissions from the store when compared to older stores.
