100 young people begin their apprenticeships with SPAR Switzerland

August 18, 2021 IN THE CATEGORY: People

Every year, about 100 trainees who have successfully completed their vocational training with the SPAR Switzerland Group enter the retail sector. Seven graduates of the graduating class were especially celebrated for excellent performances and received a special bonus. At the same time, SPAR Switzerland welcomed school graduates as new trainees to the introductory days at the SPAR headquarters in St. Gallen.

SPAR Switzerland offers about 100 school graduates training in retail, administration, logistics and transport every year. In addition, professionals can continue their education at SPAR after having completed the qualification procedure with a federal EBA professional certificate or EFZ certificate of proficiency.

The SPAR Switzerland Training Academy enables trainees to choose from about 200 courses every year. These courses cover a broad spectrum and, in addition to technical topics, also promote leadership skills to prepare employees for the next career steps. This also enables young professionals to independently run a SPAR Supermarket.

For new trainees, their apprenticeship at SPAR begins with the traditional induction days. During this period,  they receive all the important information they need to start their training at SPAR successfully.
