The shopping centre that houses the SPAR store is located in a new residential area, close to the neighbourhoods of Nowy Ruczaj and Osiedle Europejskie, which have a mostly young demographic. City planning in this area is ongoing and will see a growing population in the years to come, leading to an increased consumer catchment area for the SPAR Supermarket.
The EUROSPAR offers locally brewed beer from Krakow, a wide selection of fresh fish instore, and a good range of meat and cold cuts from the Płatek meat processing company, certified for its culinary heritage. The availability of such products is part of SPAR Poland’s commitment to supporting local producers and communities as part of its “My Neighborhood, My Spar” strategy, launched in 2017. This repositioning of the brand in Poland is supported by the pillars of ‘Proudly Polish’, ‘Supporting Local’, ‘Great Range & Price’, and ‘Everyday Convenience’.
SPAR Poland continues to expand, investing extensively in store modernisation and growth. The SPAR Partner has recently launched a number of new stores and more store opening plans are in place in the cities of Lodz, Bochnia and Sosnowiec.
