For the eighth year, consumer panel services GfK surveyed customer satisfaction of nearly 70 out-of-home brands. GfK divides these into four categories: Fast Service, Coffee & Lunch, On the Move, and At Work. GFK assess the brands based on the 7G model and forms the basis for the nominations: convenience, hospitable, cheap, enjoyment, healthy, good conscience and good story. Enjoyment is the most important of the 7G’s for On The Move, with SPAR leading the way in this area.
With the different concepts of City, Express and University, SPAR is the highest rated in the On the Move segment. According to its customers, SPAR knows how to make a difference in terms of enjoyment and healthier options. SPAR is also showing an upward trend in the area of hospitality.
Behind SPAR, TotalEnergies and AH-to-go received the next highest ratings in the ‘On the Move’ segment.

The CPS GfK Out of Home Formula Report reflects the development in appreciation and loyalty among customers of the larger foodservice formulas in the Netherlands. Each formula provides insight into the rating of the 7G’s (convenience, enjoyment, affordable, hospitable, healthy, conscientious and clear storyline).
This recognition follows on the industry award received earlier this year by SPAR Netherlands for its partnership with independent retailers.
