This new EUROSPAR Supermarket uses cutting-edge digital technology with price tags and screens that are integrated into the decor both instore and on the façade.
Customers can use a handheld device called Zebra to scan these price tags and screens, boosting customer experience. The software used here is fully integrated into SPAR Norway’s back-office systems.
Tromsø is known as a cultural hub for the region, with several festivals taking place in the summer. Housed in a newly constructed building with offices on the floors above, the store attracts a high footfall. Store manager Knut Hansen and a team of 37 talented EUROSPAR employees run the store.
2020 has seen SPAR Norway open a range of supermarkets in highly strategic locations, including Lysaker Harbour and Momarken.
