Nicole Berkmann has been SPAR Austria’s company spokesperson since 2000 and heads the corporate PR and information department. In the feedback collected by ‘Österreichs Journalist: in’ (Austria’s journalist), she is described as “always reliable, honest, and quick to give feedback”.
During the first lockdown in 2020, SPAR received a lot of media attention due to its position as Austria’s market-leading food retailer, providing essential support to communities.
“The media interest during this time was significant. That’s why I did what I love to do with a lot of enthusiasm: being a spokeswoman. I was available for all kinds of questions”, says Nicole Berkmann.
During these challenging times, she sometimes gave more than 60 interviews a day.
