SPAR Iran was awarded the SPAR licence for Iran in 2017. SPAR Iran has plans to develop its local retail presence and will work with local suppliers and retail partners to offer consumers a high quality, modern and relevant food shopping experience.
After setting up a fully functioning central support office in the capital city and securing strong retail sites, SPAR Iran successfully opened their first SPAR supermarkets in November 2020.
