SPAR supports European Athletics Team Championships

May 20, 2021 IN THE CATEGORY: Sport sponsorship

SPAR International is proud to be the principal sponsor of the European Athletics Team Championships, held in Silesia, Poland, 29–30 May 2021. This key event brings together the eight best European athletics teams to compete in the Super League for the European title.

Poland will be defending its title against teams from France, United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, Ukraine, Spain, and Portugal. In addition, the European Athletics Team Championships Super League has been streamlined from 12 to 8 teams for 2021.

The Silesian Stadium will be open to the public, which means the European Athletics Team Championships Super League will take place in front of spectators. In line with the relevant safety and sanitary plan, 7,600 spectators will be able to watch the event live. In addition, about 350 volunteers will support the organisers in various areas of the event.

The event’s broadcast will be available on Polish Sports Channel TVP Sport, on 29 May from 15.30-19.15, and on 30 May from 13.00-16.15.

The First, Second, and Third Leagues of the European Athletics Team Championships will take place on the weekend of 19-20 June 2021.

As a principal sponsor since 1996, SPAR continues to support European Athletics, promoting healthy lifestyles from grassroots upwards. This long-term support of athletes across 50 federations in Europe reflects the SPAR ethos of working together for mutual benefit.

The passion that European Athletics and the athletes have for the sport comes through in everything they do; be it on the track or in the field. This kind of passion and belief in working together is also seen throughout the global SPAR family.

SPAR Partners have access to tools that can be integrated into all communication and marketing platforms, reflecting the role that SPAR plays as principal sponsor.
