The SPAR city store in Bavariski dvor is the fourth store of this type in Slovenia. The store was designed in accordance with the urban concept of smaller, convenient shops. Bavarski dvor is the busiest bus stop in Ljubljana, with many people commuting daily into the area.
The store is 400m² in size and the layout enables customers to find everything they need quickly. A particular focus has been to customers looking for food to consume now and those looking for healthier snacks.
In this diverse and high-quality product range, an emphasis on daily fresh and store-ready SPAR to go products is clear. There is a selection of delicious sandwiches, some hot meals and tasty salads. A self-service counter in the bakery ensures easy access to bread and cakes. There is also a variety of pre-prepared dishes available in the self-service section. Four self-checkouts support customers with limited time for shopping.
The 18-strong team of full-time employees work together to offer a pleasant shopping experience for customers.
At the opening of this fourth SPAR city store, David Kovačič, CEO of SPAR Slovenija, said: “I am delighted that we could open another modern store in the city which features a wide and fresh offer specifically adapted to suit the dynamic and fast pace of life at this high traffic site. We are confident that it will become just as popular and indispensable among the residents as our first SPAR city store located on Čopova ulica.”
The new SPAR city Bavarski dvor store development integrated several sustainable solutions. The store uses energy-saving LED lighting, helping to reduce electricity consumption. For heating and cooling, an environmentally friendly system using 100% natural CO2 gas has been installed.
