This is the sixth time the Ramadan Charity Drive has been run by SPAR Oman in partnership with the local association, Dar Al Atta’a. That association strives to improve the lives of the underprivileged in the Sultanate and encourages giving through positive partnerships. As part of this collaboration with SPAR Oman, non-perishable Ramadan food essentials donated by customers will be distributed by Dar Al Atta’a. The donations will make a positive impact on the lives of lesser privileged families.
Each year, SPAR Oman celebrates the spirit of Ramadan with community-centered initiatives and promotions throughout the month. The launch of this year’s campaign was announced at a special event held at the SPAR Madinat Sultan Qaboos Supermarket. Customers of this store have participated in other charity campaigns, including celebrations for the country’s national day.
SPAR Oman has a varied responsible retailing strategy, and quite a few programmes focus on supporting residents living in the communities their stores serve. On the occasion of the launch, SPAR Oman thanked their shoppers for their generous support of past editions of this campaign. This campaign highlights the strength of the spirit of compassion felt amongst SPAR Oman’s loyal shoppers, employees, and local communities.
