Download imageAfter a six-month renovation, the INTERSPAR in Pécs on Siklósi út reopened in April. The store is one of the most modern hypermarkets in the Southern Transdanubia region. The assortment has been expanded, now including more healthy, organic, and diabetic-friendly products. An INTERSPAR-to-Go unit is located at the entrance, offering healthy and tasty meals made onsite either for takeaway or for shoppers to enjoy instore. The store also features sustainable technologies and equipment, including a solar panel system, LED lighting, and a CO2-based cooling system.
Investment in the store, which offers employment to 84 team members, totalled nearly €12.6 million.
A new SPAR store opened in Budapest in the Lurdy-ház shopping centre following an investment of €2.15 million. The store features modern refrigerators, fresh produce shelves, and bakery stands which make shopping an easy and convenient experience. A SPAR-to-Go unit is located next to the entrance.
LED lighting and energy-efficient cooling technologies have been introduced.
A total of €2.15 million was invested in the modernisation of the SPAR Supermarket in Ócsa. The sales area remained unchanged, but due to the redesign and new furniture, the store now offers customers a transparent, spacious, and convenient shopping environment. Sustainable technologies, including LED lighting and eco-friendly cooling solutions, ensure reduced energy consumption.
After a refurbishment of over €700,000, the SPAR Supermarket in Gyöngyös also reopened in April. The façade of the store and the interior have been redeveloped, including new and recycled fixtures. A store highlight is the new grilled food section, which offers hot meals. The lighting system was upgraded with LED lamps, and energy-efficient fridges with doors have been implemented.
In April, the modernised INTERSPAR Hypermarket in Nyíregyháza reopened, providing shoppers with an extensive product range, eco-friendly solutions, and high-quality services.
The exterior and the interior of the hypermarket have been renovated, including a spacious shopping area and a modern store layout. The hypermarket now has new cooling equipment, fresh produce racks, baked goods dispensers, and cash registers, including self-checkouts. The food-to-go unit offers an extensive range of fresh food prepared onsite. In line with changing customer demands, products that support healthy diets are displayed in focus areas.
