In order to assist the rollout of the SPAR Express format at all service stations in the country, SPAR Netherlands has adjusted its internal structure and introduced new positions.

Erwin Jansen has been appointed as the SPAR Express Operations Manager and, together with a small project team, will steer the rollout of SPAR Express stores at all Texaco forecourts in the Netherlands.

In his new role, Erwin will supervise, support and lead the correct implementation of the SPAR Express format. He was previously the Unit Manager for Grocery, Non-Food and Service at SPAR Netherlands.

The Category Management team has also undergone a re-structuring and will now be organised according to “meal moments”, reflecting the convenience offer of SPAR Express stores in the Netherlands, which focus on breakfast, lunch and dinner meal moments.

Ms Geertrui Klostermann, an experienced Category Manager, will be responsible for the team. She moves into this position from her previous role as Unit Manager Fresh Products.
