In total, 30 nations secured medals, showcasing the strength and depth of athletics across Europe. Dutch sensation Niels Laros capped off the event with an 800m victory, completing a rare distance double, while Spain dominated with four gold medals on the final day.

With over 85 accredited media onsite, and many more driving visibility for the athletes in the different markets, fans could follow all the excitement in real-time by viewing their platform of choice. Family and friends who had travelled to Bergen were rewarded with world-class competition in this dedicated athletics stadium, set inside the hillside.
As principal partner, SPAR is committed to supporting not just the athletes but also the incredible volunteers who help bring major events such as this to life. To recognise their invaluable contribution, SPAR Norway provided 200 NOK gift cards to volunteers as a thank-you for their time and dedication.
Fans were also part of the celebration, with 1,000 lucky spectators receiving a SPAR Norway ‘Good Vibes’ tote bag. The athletes received practical support with SPAR-branded shopping baskets to assist with their kit collection, another small but meaningful touch in a truly world-class event experience.
As a long-standing principal sponsor of European Athletics, SPAR was delighted to support the European Athletics U23 Championships. The brand’s presence was evident through varied branding materials, promoting awareness of the SPAR brand in the stadium and in media coverage, while supporting athletes from around Europe.
