2017 Annual Review now available in German, Italian and Spanish

SPAR International’s 2017 Annual review was released earlier this year and revealed strong growth for the brand with global retail sales of €34.5 billion for the year ending 31 December 2017. In recognition of our growing global coverage, we're pleased to now have the review available in more languages.

Summarising the key developments of the SPAR worldwide organisation in 2017, the Annual Review is a great resource for our 105 SPAR Partners and 350,000 employees around the world, as well as for potential partners and global media.

The report provides an overview of SPAR International’s business strategy, retail solutions, supply chain developments, joint purchasing opportunities and our progress in the field of responsible retailing. The digital publication and is now available in German, Italian and Spanish, as well as in English.

Key performance highlights include:

  • A year-on-year increase of 232 additional stores, bringing the total number of stores globally to 12,777, which equates to over 7.4mof sales area across all SPAR formats
  • The introduction of the brand into five new markets, bringing the total number of SPAR countries to 48

The review closes with a brief summary of the successes in each of the markets the SPAR Brand was operational in at the time of going to print.
