SPAR Oman named Most Trusted Brand 2017

December 20, 2017 IN THE CATEGORY: Awards and prizes

SPAR Oman was recently awarded 'Most Trusted Brand of 2017' in the Supermarket/ Departmental Store Category with the ceremony being held at the Shangri-la Barr al Jissah Resort supported by the Ministry of Commerce.

Now in its second year, Oman’s Most Trusted Brands Awards has grown to become the biggest branding ceremony in Oman. In the 2017 edition there were more than 480,000 votes polled by the general public for over 450 brands in various categories.

The award is the ultimate recognition of a brand’s products and services as well as customer satisfaction. What makes it truly special is that customers have to recall their preferred brand in different categories without being confined to a ready-made list. The public is also free to nominate the companies or brands they prefer without being limited to just a few names. It is a true test of brand recall and an excellent way of establishing genuine public perception of different brands in the country.

The winners in different categories enjoy public trust, as a result of the extreme care and effort they have taken to build their products and services. Oman’s Most Trusted Brands is the biggest recognition for the private sector from an independent third party. Coverage of the awards is published in the Muscat Daily, BusinessToday and GCC business news sites like Zawya.com and MENAFN.

Voting was promoted through online and print editions of key newspapers, and on social media. Read more news from SPAR Oman.
