The INTERSPAR Hypermarket Amstetten on Wiener Straße has been operating since 1995, providing everything to meet the daily shopping needs of customers. Almost 20 years after the last store renovation project, INTERSPAR has now invested €21.5 million in the modernisation of the site. The reopening of the store is scheduled for October 2019 and during the renovation period, the store will remain open, offering customers the SPAR service they are used to.

“In just over a year, the first customers will experience a new shopper’s paradise,” said Managing Director of INTERSPAR Austria, Markus Kaser. The location will have a new, attractive appearance, an underground car park with 120 additional free parking spaces, and a new restaurant with a terrace. A marketplace with fresh delicacies, worlds of goods for daily necessities and plenty of space for regional specialties will characterise the new interior of INTERSPAR in Amstetten.”
