The annual Logistics and IT Conference, LOGIT, will take place in China this year from 14-18 October. A total of 130 participants from 30 SPAR Partners will gather in Weihai, the city in which the SPAR Brand was first launched in the country in April 2005, after the license was signed with Mr Wang in November 2004.

LOGIT 2019 will focus on the central theme of Digital Retail, with colleagues from across the world coming together to connect and share experiences of optimising their businesses for the modern world. Delegates will of course also have the chance to see how SPAR has grown in China with visits to two very modern SPAR Supermarkets as well as the SPAR Shandong Distribution Centre in Weihai.

In addition to the presentation sessions, delegates will be able to interact with a number of valued suppliers present at the event, ranging from software solution providers to transport and cooling sellers. The spread of supplier partners attending this year’s conference reflects the mix of SPAR experts who together represent the full supply chain in Weihai.

The annual LOGIT Conference is yet another example of how we are working ‘Better Together’ to strengthen our supply chain initiatives across the global SPAR network.
