Included in the new range is Drinking Chocolate, Green Tea 50s and Earl Grey Tea 50s. Meanwhile, while SPAR’s 80 Tea Bags have now been refreshed with improved quality.
These new products join the recent launch of a range of SPAR branded coffee capsules. The capsules, which are compatible with Nespresso machines, are available in packs of 10 and are already popular with customers.
Susan Darbyshire, SPAR UK Brand Director, said: “SPAR Brand has a fantastic opportunity to grow sales of up to £1m in the own label beverages category, with our NPD estimated to deliver at least £500k.
“We know that green tea, Earl Grey tea and hot chocolate are growing areas for our shoppers, and we are keen to modernise our SPAR Brand range to keep up with all the latest consumer trends,” she said.
