Through its partnership with Avia, SPAR Poland is expanding its SPAR Express brand presence in the country. As of 15 September this year, 44 SPAR Express stores have been opened, located at Avia petrol forecourts . The SPAR Express forecourt stores offer shoppers convenient product options, food-to-go selections, and long opening hours.

The SPAR Express store in Wysogotowo opened on 15 September and offers 3,500 products to customers, including food-to-go options and a liquor section. Customers can also dine in at the Eat&Go café. Covering a retail area of around 270m2, this is the first time a retail store has been available on that forecourt site. Near the fuel station, there is a large parking lot for trucks, a convenient car wash and a charging station for electric cars.

The towns of Choiny and Ostrów Wielkopolski also now have access to SPAR Express stores located on Avia forecourt sites, opened on August 30 and 31 respectively. Both SPAR Express stores offer a good choice of SPAR Own Brand products, sourced from local producers and internationally. Each store also offers a food-to-go selection, with a coffee offer integrated into the food service offer.

Avia in Poland is operated by the Unimot Group, which has been developing the chain since 2016. Avia is developing effective retail solutions for the forecourt market, providing great a shopping experience for their customers. Utilising SPAR Poland’s expertise, the forecourt stores opened since the partnership began in Q4-2021 have tailored offerings to suit each location’s customer needs.
