SPAR Netherlands wins two own brand prizes

June 26, 2018 IN THE CATEGORY: Awards and prizes, Own Brand and Suppliers

At the recently held annual PLMA Salute to Excellence Awards organised by the Private Label Manufacturers Association, SPAR Netherlands was awarded two own brand product prizes for its SPAR Ketchup and SPAR Quinoa and Almond Salad.

SPAR Ketchup

In the ‘condiments’ category, the SPAR Own Brand Ketchup was recognised for both its quality and taste, as well as its production process.

The tomatoes for the Ketchup are grown at a socially responsible nursery in Amsterdam in a sustainable way that aims to prevent as much waste as possible. Making use of the whole tomato, the SPAR Own Brand Ketchup contains 100% natural ingredients – evident in its delicious, wholesome taste.

SPAR Quinoa and Almond Salad

In the ‘on-the-go convenience’ category, the SPAR Quinoa and Almond Salad was awarded for its taste and quality, fitting the brief of being both a healthy and convenient product for busy people on the go. Ticking all the boxes, it’s no wonder SPAR Netherlands refers to the salad as its hero product.

With its own brand range, SPAR Netherlands aims to meet the growing convenience needs of consumers. Along with the Quinoa and Almond Salad, the SPAR Partner offers its customers a diverse range of ready-made meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner. These healthy on-the-go convenience products are available in all SPAR format stores, in particular SPAR City and SPAR Express stores across the country.
