SPAR Netherlands supports children’s cancer charity

SPAR Netherlands is a strong supporter of the children’s cancer charity, KiKa, having organised a variety of fund-raising activities over the years, which have helped KiKa in its fight against children’s cancer.

In recent years KiKa has organised a successful auction to raise funds for children suffering from cancer.

This year’s auction was held at the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam. Part of the event included a raffle, which offered a prize of two minutes of free shopping at a SPAR store.

SPAR Muiderberg

The lucky winner was Onno Scheij from Badhoevedorp. On Friday 19 May he was invited shop for two minutes at a SPAR store of his choice. Onno chose the SPAR neighbourhood store in the town of Muiderberg.

Store owners, Raymond and Kim van den Bosch and their team were excited to be able to host the store dash. Within the allotted time, Onno managed to shop for a total amount of €285,79.
