DESPAR Italia’s Scuolafacendo school initative returns

October 2, 2026 IN THE CATEGORY: Responsible retailing

With the new school year underway, DESPAR Italia has returned with its Scuolafacendo initiative. From September 14 to November 15, when customers shop at participating DESPAR, EUROSPAR, and INTERSPAR stores, they will receive vouchers which can support schools to select a wide range of educational tools and materials.

The initiative allows schools to receive teaching materials and tools with the support of customers. From September 14 to November 15, when customers shop at participating DESPAR, EUROSPAR, and INTERSPAR stores, they will receive a voucher for every €15 spent. Each of DESPAR Italia’s six consortium companies are taking part, providing a nationwide initiative. In the North of the country, customers will receive a voucher when they spend €10 or more.

With the vouchers, customers can support their chosen school by dedicating their vouchers through the project website and dedicated app. At the beginning of 2027, schools will then be able to select a range of different materials, based on the number of vouchers donated, from a dedicated catalogue. The initiative is aimed at kindergartens, primary and secondary schools, public and private, in the regions with which DESPAR Italia operates.

Additionally, schools registered with the Scuolafacendo initiaitve can take part in a creative contest titled “Diamoci una mossa!” invites students and teachers to tell their story on the importance of movement from their own experience. Each participating school will receive 100 vouchers, with the 10 winning schools receiving 3,000 vouchers.

Ombretta Putzu, Head of Marketing and Communication of Despar Italia, said “With Scuolafare we renew our commitment alongside the schools and communities in which we operate, concretely supporting the educational path of the new generations.”
