The annual SPAR International Partnership Forum will take place in Amsterdam on 28 November. Bringing together SPAR Preferred Suppliers as well as Heads of Buying & Procurement, this key event is focused on sharing knowledge and establishing a platform for continued collaboration and growth.

Taking place at the Theatre Amsterdam, this year’s Forum will once again see SPAR Partners from all over the world come together to share key strategic developments with international supplier partners. The day will be filled with inspiring business sessions including a presentation from Magnus Lindkvist and time to visit the large expo area where innovations in own brand development will be showcased, as will advances in store development.

This not-to-be-missed event is an excellent opportunity for networking with other SPAR Partners and with preferred suppliers across diverse sectors as we celebrate another successful year of working better together.

Responsible retailing

On 27 November, in the build-up to the Partnership Forum, SPAR International will host the second edition of the Responsible Retailing Forum. Highlighting the focus we are placing on investing in a sustainable retail business, the full-day meeting will bring together CSR leaders from across the SPAR worldwide network to discuss the progress we are making in two key areas: Plastic Waste Reduction and Health & Wellness.

The agenda includes SPAR Partner presentations, panel discussions and a Q&A session. The guest speaker line-up includes big names in the CSR field: Dr. Lawrence Haddad, winner of the World Food Prize Foundation in 2018; Isabelle Grosmaitre, co-chair of the Health & Wellness pillar of the Consumer Goods Forum; and Sander Defruyt who heads up the New Plastics Economy Initiative at the Ellen Macarther Foundation.

Other side events during the week of activity include a Supply Chain Action Group, a Store Development Seminar as well as a Buying and Procurement meeting.
