The first phase of the campaign saw the development of 20 different 1-minute recipe videos featuring a range of healthy meal ideas from soups and salads, to main dishes and desserts. The campaign quickly moved instore with Phase 2 providing everyday dinner inspiration in the form of recipe cards and visuals. Nine SPAR markets ranging from Africa to Western and Eastern Europe participated in these first two phases, benefitting from the joint marketing collaboration and engagement with shoppers through both on and offline channels. Phase 3 of the Wholesome Home Cooking campaign is now in development and will offer SPAR Partners a series of short videos and instore PoS design templates under the following four content themes:
The 37 short and informative videos can be used to drive engagement on digital channels, while the PoS templates (recipe cards, A1 posters, and wobblers) will provide supporting communications for use instore.
So far, six SPAR Partners have signed up and SPAR International is looking for more to join. Participation in the campaign will help retailers grow shopper engagement, drive sales, increase basket spend, and better recognise the desire customers have for dinner solutions that are varied, easy and healthy. The initiative has highlighted that SPAR is the go-to supermarket for daily meal inspiration and the products your customers need to bring the recipes to life.
