The summer of sport just got hotter as the Glasgow stage of the much-anticipated inaugural European Championships officially gets underway. A multi-sport event held in two European cities, sports enthusiasts can indulge in 11 days of thrilling competition with Athletics, Acquatics, Cycling, Gymnastics, Rowing, Golf and Triathlon all on the agenda.

A combined initiative of seven European sports federations, Glasgow will host the Aquatics, Cycling, Gymnastics, Rowing, Golf and Triathlon events from 2-12 August, while Berlin hosts the Athletics from 7-12 August. With the support of national TV broadcasters complemented by the federations’ and local broadcasters’ provision of livestreaming, fans will be able to follow all of the action, supporting their local stars as they compete in the 40 disciplines and 173 medal events that are part of the Championships in Glasgow and Berlin.
