Italy’s Nadia Battocletti confirmed her status as one of Europe’s finest distance runners, retaining her senior women’s title and leading Italy to team gold. Great Britain’s Innes FitzGerald continued her remarkable rise, winning her third successive U20 title and spearheading her team to a record-extending 19th team victory.
The senior men’s race produced high drama as Spain’s Thierry Ndikumwenayo edged out world 10,000m champion Jimmy Gressier in a nail-biting sprint finish, securing individual gold and helping Spain claim the team title. Spain topped the medal table with eight medals overall, including three golds.
Other standout moments included Italy retaining the mixed relay crown, Portugal’s Isaac Nader storming the final leg to secure silver for the host nation, and brilliant team triumphs for Belgium, Great Britain, Ireland, and France across the age categories.

The licence for the SPAR brand in Portugal was granted in 2006 to a local retailer. In 2011, new investors provided the capital required to meet the needs of the rapidly growing business. The SPAR stores in Portugal are predominantly convenience-focused neighbourhood stores, operated by sub-licensed independent retailers which complement company-owned stores.
