SPAR UK partner, CJ Lang & Son, announced its acquisition of nine ScotFresh stores.
CJ Lang & Son, SPAR wholesaler in Scotland, has acquired the award-winning ScotFresh Group Ltd. ScotFresh is a retail chain located across Glasgow and the Scottish central belt. This acquisition involves nine ScotFresh stores and the transition of 130 employees, supported by CJ Lang & Son.
ScotFresh enjoys an excellent reputation within the industry with a strong and well-recognised brand with a loyal customer base and robust supplier relationships. The ScotFresh stores will maintain their current branding and operate as a separate business unit. Initially, they will receive comprehensive support from CJ Lang & Son, including assistance from their central support teams and be fully serviced from their distribution centre in Dundee.
