A new SPAR Express store has opened in Ostermundigen in the canton of Bern. The SPAR store is a conversion of a former service station convenience shop and after extensive reconstruction, it was re-opened with a fresh new look.

Thanks to a new state-of-the-art store layout, the existing sales area of 120m² can now be used more efficiently to offer an extended range of products. The current range of food and non-food items has increased, particularly in the fresh produce area. Fruit and vegetables continue to be sourced from regional suppliers and fresh flowers are available daily.

In addition to oven-fresh bread and fine pastries, the new SPAR Express store also offers an extensive range of take away products such a freshly prepared sandwiches, muesli and fruit cups. In the instore bistro, snacks can be enjoyed in a relaxed atmosphere. It is the ideal location to enjoy a cup of coffee and a bite to eat at any time of the day.
