Poland will be defending its title against teams from France, United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, Ukraine, Spain, and Portugal. In addition, the European Athletics Team Championships Super League has been streamlined from 12 to 8 teams for 2021.
The Silesian Stadium will be open to the public, which means the European Athletics Team Championships Super League will take place in front of spectators. In line with the relevant safety and sanitary plan, 7,600 spectators will be able to watch the event live. In addition, about 350 volunteers will support the organisers in various areas of the event.
The event’s broadcast will be available on Polish Sports Channel TVP Sport, on 29 May from 15.30-19.15, and on 30 May from 13.00-16.15.
The First, Second, and Third Leagues of the European Athletics Team Championships will take place on the weekend of 19-20 June 2021.
