SPAR Spain celebrated a series of store openings during August and September, helping the brand meet evolving customer needs in the north-western provinces of Ourense and Pontevedra and in the south-western province of Huelva. SPAR Spain customers can choose from SPAR Own Brands, a range of national brands, and many local favourites on offer.

New SPAR Express store in the region of Huelva

August saw the opening of SPAR Spain partner Líderaliment’s new SPAR Express store in the port city of Huelva. The 250m² SPAR store offers customers approximately 2,600 references, including SPAR branded products and other leading brands on the market.

Four employees oversee the store, which has self-service areas with meat, fruit and vegetables, fish, bread, as well as a delicatessen and frozen foods area. Opening hours are from Monday to Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

SPAR Líderaliment also offers its retail service in the provinces of Seville, Badajoz, Córdoba, Cádiz, and Cáceres.

Three new SPAR Express stores for Galicia

SPAR Spain partner Ignacio de las Cuevas in September opened three SPAR Express stores in the northwest of Spain, two in Ourense and one in Pontevedra. The local teams of SPAR colleagues are knowledgeable about local tastes and always guarantee the best possible service to their customers.

In Ourense, the first new SPAR Express has opened in the municipality of Maside and, more recently, the second SPAR Express in Vilardevós. Two colleagues are in charge of each store, which both have 1,300 product references on offer. The Maside 130m² SPAR EXPRESS store’s opening hours are from Monday to Friday from 9 a.m to 2 p.m. and Saturday from 4.30 p.m. to 9 p.m.

In Vilardevós, the 140m² SPAR Express store offers fresh fruit and vegetables, a bakery and a delicatessen area. The store is open from Monday to Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.

In the maritime city of Vigo in Pontevedra, the new SPAR Express store presents a sales area of 130m² with a fresh produce and a bakery area adapted to the local needs. The store is open seven days a week, Mondays to Saturdays from 8 a.m. to midnight and on Sundays and holidays from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

SPAR de las Cuevas also brings the SPAR Brand to the provinces of La Coruña and Lugo.
