Download imageThe SPAR hypermarket in Zagorje, which opened 18 years ago, was completely renovated this year in just two months. The upgrade includes a new façade, canopy, and entrance. Instore, customers will find modern departments, an improved fruit and vegetable section with local products, and a new area offering ready-made meals. Fresh SPAR To Go products, including sandwiches, salads, and pre-prepared dishes, are also available.
The hypermarket features energy-saving LED lighting, closed refrigerators, and a heating system that reuses energy from cooling technology. Electronic price displays reduce paper use, and a vending machine for returnable glass packaging is located next to the store.
The SPAR supermarket in Tržič which had already been operating for 20 years, was reopened following a complete modernisation. The supermarket now features a modern fruit and vegetable department at the front of the store. The bakery section offers a new range of bread and pastries in self-service, while the delicatessen, butchery, and fish market have all been upgraded. A new ready-made meals section includes fresh dishes prepared instore.
The INTERSPAR hypermarket in Park Centre Koper shopping centre has been completely modernised. The hypermarket stayed open during renovations and now welcomes customers with a modern design, new layout, and improved shopping experience. Covering 3,600m², it features attractive non-food departments, fresh produce, and a new section offering pizzas, pastries, sandwiches, desserts, and salads to go.
Innovations include smart electronic price displays, energy-saving LED lighting, closed refrigerators, and systems that reuse heat from cooling technology to heat water, making the store more sustainable and efficient.
The completely renovated SPAR supermarket in Semedela now features natural tones and materials, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Special attention has been given to the fresh food department. Customers can enjoy self-service bread and pastries, while the delicatessen counter, butchery, and fish market have all been redesigned. A team of 32 employees ensures excellent customer service and a pleasant shopping experience.
Opening stores in smaller communities reflects SPAR Slovenia’s commitment to improving the quality of life for residents and the development of local communities.
In Nova vas na Bloke, a new SPAR franchise store opened, operated by KZ Velike Lašče z.o.o. The store, which covers 220 m², features SPAR Slovenia’s modern, customer-friendly design and ensures a convenient shopping experience.
SPAR Slovenia’s franchise partner KZ Velike Lašče z.o.o. opened the SPAR Loški Potok store, in close collaboration with SPAR Slovenia. This convenience store covers 220m² and has a customer-friendly design. The store employs six team members. Customers can enjoy a wide range of food products, including SPAR Own Brand products. Special attention is given to fresh food. The store in Loški Potok is the latest and 19th SPAR partner store opened this year, and the 48th overall.
Another SPAR franchise store opened on 6 November in Radomlje, operated by Resman Plus d.o.o. The store covers 450m² and offers customers a wide selection of food products. Special focus is placed on fresh food such as freshly baked bread and pastries, homemade confectionery, and a varied selection of fruit and vegetables.
