SPAR Slovenia and Simbioza promote digital inclusion

SPAR Slovenia and NGO Simbioza, dedicated to intergenerational education and digital empowerment, are organising digital workshops at INTERSPAR stores throughout May. The goal is to familiarise a wider range of users with the SPAR Plus app, especially customers who want to improve their shopping experience.

The workshops, each lasting 45 minutes, will teach participants how to install and use the app on their smartphones. This initiative aims to enhance digital inclusion, particularly among older customers. The SPAR Plus app offers numerous benefits in one place, including coupons, discounts, weekly menu offers, digital flyers, recipes, shopping lists, prize games, and news announcements, making shopping easier and more efficient.

“We are pleased that Simbioza has joined us to organise these workshops. We recognise that some customers, including the older shoppers, may need additional support with modern technology. Our goal is to help every customer take full advantage of our app,” said Lea Cimperman Acman, Head of Public Relations at SPAR Slovenia.

For Simbioza, known for its work in digital education for older adults, the partnership with SPAR is an acknowledgement of their efforts. The workshops are free and available in front of various INTERSPAR stores across Slovenia. More information can be found on SPAR Slovenia’s website.
