SPAR Poland was delighted to receive this award as confirmation that the SPAR business concept is both attractive to independent retailers and effective.
“We strongly believe that by working together, supporting and building relationships with our partners, and focusing on what consumers want, we will all succeed. At SPAR, we focus on the shopping experience, the freshness and quality of our products, and the service we offer our customers. We are part of local communities and communities are like families. We strive to deliver the highest quality products every day at a good price. SPAR stores are run by local entrepreneurs who know the needs of their customers, after all, they live in the same communities,” said Wayne Hodson President of the Board.
SPAR Poland has a strong offer of SPAR Own Brand ranges, with over 600 products available. The retailer has plans to increase the range to 1,000 items. Recognising that options were needed to meet the lifestyle and dietary choices of their shoppers, SPAR Poland last year introduced a range of gluten-free products.
In the twelfth edition of a nationwide consumer survey carried out by the GFK Research Institute, SPAR Poland was delighted when this range won the ‘Best Product 2023 – Consumers’ Choice’ category. Last year, SPAR Poland also launched a new range of ready meals and drinks under the ‘Fresh to go at SPAR’ label.
