SPAR Group in South Africa has announced that Wayne Hodson, the current CEO of SPAR Sri Lanka, has been appointed as the Chairman of the Management Board of SPAR Poland, effective from 1 December 2020.

In a statement about this appointment, SPAR South Africa CEO Graham O’Connor said: “This is well-deserved recognition for the incredible work Wayne has done in getting the Sri Lankan business off the ground. I have no doubt that his knowledge of, and passion for SPAR, will assist us in capitalising on the opportunity that exists in Poland.”

SPAR also announced the appointment of Martin Schoeman to the role of CEO for SPAR Sri Lanka, taking over from Wayne Hodson.
