SPAR Oman is delighted to announce the opening of its 25th store. Located in the heart of the city of Sur, the new SPAR Supermarket truly enhances the shopping experience for local citizens.

Spread over an area of 1,475 m2, the store was officially opened by Saud Hamed Al-Alawi, Director of Tourism Administration for South Sharqiya and David Moore, International Retail and Development Director at  SPAR International, along with other dignitaries from SPAR Oman.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, David Moore congratulated the SPAR Oman team for the pace at which the brand is growing in the country. “I am extremely happy to be a part of this wonderful journey which started in 2014,” he said.

Sidhar Moosapeta, CEO of SPAR Oman said: “At SPAR, we always strive to provide a better shopping experience for our customers. Our latest store is a fine addition to the city of Sur, providing value-for-money and a wide range of products under one roof.”

The SPAR store in Sur has ample parking space, fast check-outs, and superior customer service. The store stands strong in its value proposition, offering carefully merchandised ranges that keep local needs top-of-mind. It’s no wonder that SPAR was named Most Trusted Brand in Oman in 2017.
