In the North of England, SPAR UK wholesaler James Hall & Co. Ltd has opened a new company owned SPAR forecourt store after a complete knockdown rebuild. Additionally, independent company Valli Forecourts Ltd opened a brand new SPAR store at Stanley Service Station in County Durham.

SPAR Lathom forecourt store opens in West Lancashire

James Hall & Co. Ltd celebrated the opening of its company-owned SPAR Lathom store with an eight pump Shell forecourt following a £3m complete site rebuild. Located on the A5209 between Burscough and Parbold in West Lancashire, the expanded SPAR store offers a comprehensive range to customers, including over-the-counter deli selling fresh food-to-go, bakery, hot food unit, coffee offer, and a wide range of grocery products.

The forecourt site also includes two EV charge points, AdBlue dispensers, and an air, screen wash and vacuum area. There are also 25 car parking spaces and an ATM. The store and forecourt opening hours are 7am until 11pm, with 29 team members ensuring a smooth shopping experience for customers.

New SPAR forecourt store in Co. Durham

Independent forecourt operators Valli Forecourts Ltd opened their 17th store as part of its portfolio with a new SPAR store located at Stanley Service Station in County Durham. The store provides an extensive convenience offer, including food-to-go, ready-made meals, a large chilled drinks section, and coffee offer. Customers can also order from the store using delivery services Deliveroo, Uber Eats and Just Eat.

Externally, service station includes a Shell forecourt with AdBlue pumps and canisters, a HGV pump, car wash, five jet wash sections each with air, water and vacuum facilities, and plentiful customer parking.
