SPAR Netherlands and foodservice specialist partner Bakerstreet have entered into a strategic partnership to accelerate the strengthening of the foodservice offering within SPAR neighbourhood and city stores. With Bakerstreet’s expertise in foodservice, ranging from concept development and product range to operations, training and data-driven management, SPAR Netherlands is making a decisive move toward further growth in the convenience segment.

Foodservice is a key pillar of SPAR Netherlands’ strategy. Demand for high-quality, ready-to-eat products is growing, particularly among younger customers and in urban areas. Bakerstreet’s role in foodservice innovation
