SPAR Natural range expands with two new organic pasta products

SPAR Natural is the newest range of SPAR Own Brand products to be launched by SPAR International – developed in response to the growing consumer demand for healthier food choices. The range breaks new ground in the area of Health & Wellness and allows the global SPAR Brand to further differentiate itself from the competition.

SPAR International now has a total of 20 SKUs available under the SPAR Natural range, featuring healthy snack solutions, dry grocery offerings, and confectionary.

The most recent additions are two new 100% Italian organic durum wheat pasta products: Whole Grain Fusilli and Traditional Spaghetti. Both come in a 500g pack and are produced in Italy using locally grown semolina. The two varieties were chosen based on industry data, which shows that they are the most popular pasta products and the most desired pack size.

Both types of pasta offer the highest possible quality with regards to the ingredients used and the manufacturing process. Being fully organic, the products are perfect additions to the SPAR Natural Range, helping to meet the growing popularity of healthier lifestyle choices by shoppers.

Nielsen customer research into organic awareness and willingness to purchase highlighted that consumers increasingly expect to be able to buy organic products in their regular supermarket. The research also showed that shoppers are willing to pay a slight premium for quality organic options, meaning that the SPAR Natural range is right on-trend.
