SPAR Latvia, in cooperation with its license partner Nelle, opened a new SPAR Express store in Riga. This shop-in-store concept combines SPAR Express with a local liquor store, providing customers with both a convenient and high-quality shopping experience.

The store has a retail sales area of 110m² and employs four experienced team members. A distinct feature of this newly opened SPAR Express store is the extensive choice of takeaway meals, including a broad selection of daily lunch offers that can also be enjoyed on-site.

SPAR own brand range

In addition to groceries, fresh food, food-to-go and food-to-stay, the store offers a broad selection of over 200 SPAR Own Brand products. “At the end of 2024, we added more than 100 new SPAR Own Brand products to our range,” said Andris Aire, Chairman of the Board of SPAR Latvia.

Enhanced shopping experience

This latest store meets the requirements of residents and guests in Riga, offering a superb selection of products and an excellent shopping experience. “In Latvia, we will continue to develop both the SPAR and SPAR Express store concepts, providing residents and tourists with a convenient, fast, and enjoyable shopping experience. In cooperation with our licencees, we plan to open several SPAR Express stores in Riga in the coming months and to modernise and improve the existing SPAR stores in Latvia,” added Andris Aire.
