SPAR Italy's wave of store openings and renewals continues, reflecting ongoing investment in shopper experiences across the country.

New stores in the northwest

SPAR Italy’s partner in the northwest opened a new SPAR Express in Turin, their second city centre store opening in under three months. This reflects their ongoing commitment to serving the community. This store offers home shopping, and discount cards for those over the age of 65, as well as for university students from the nearby campus.

Following investment in renovation, the restyled DESPAR Supermarket located in the heart of Turin aligns with the brand’s growth and improvement strategy. The supermarket features a modern and sustainable layout that highlights local specialties and provides an enhanced shopping experience for customers.

Independent retailer investment

The DESPAR in Tribano is operated by the dedicated Boselli family, who have been associated with the DESPAR brand for almost a decade. Michela, who excels in fresh departments and culinary expertise, has successfully managed the DESPAR Supermarket in Camposampiero for seven years, with support from her husband Andrea and their children.

New stores in the centre-south

The expansion of the DESPAR network in the central-south region continued with the opening of a new 1,000m² INTERSPAR Hypermarket in Crispiano. This store emphasises the brand’s strategic investment in the Ionian area, creating 24 new jobs. This INTERSPAR Hypermarket embraces innovations focusing on sustainability and cutting-edge technologies. It offers a unique focus on food, featuring a refreshment area where customers can taste dishes from various departments.

Additionally, independent retailer Florindo Buffardi and his family celebrated at the opening of their new 250m² DESPAR store in Cassino.

Convenience in stores

The charming village of Ciminna, in the province of Palermo, also saw the opening of a new DESPAR store. Customers will be welcomed by the customer service, quality and savings that distinguish DESPAR stores, providing a convenient shopping experience.

Restyled EUROSPAR Supermarket

The revamped EUROSPAR Supermarket in Serramanna, Sardinia, has reopened, welcoming its customers with many new features. Retaining its focus on a high quality offering, the store has a rich assortment of fresh fruit and vegetables, a delicious delicatessen and bakery department, top quality meat, a fish market featuring the best local fish and a sushi corner.
