The event offers a platform for all SPAR Marketing and Communication Managers to inspire each other through engaging presentations and informative store visits. This week, we see 60 managers from around the world come together in the Spanish city of Cartegena for a three-day conference, focusing on diverse areas of marketing with a special focus on strategy, digital and brand awareness. Grupo Upper, host of this year’s event, operates around 210 SPAR stores in the Southern regions of Albacete, Alicante, Almeria, Granada and Murcia, and is a cooperative of independent retailers who have chosen to work together to drive the SPAR Brand in the south of Spain. Delegates will visit some of these stores during the conference, seeing the latest marketing and retail initiatives in place.
