Download imageThe SPAR Supermarket on Üllői Road in Budapest reopened, following an investment of €755,700. The supermarket, with a 573m² sales area, now features new refrigeration units, modern fruit and vegetable racks, a bakery, and a special offer zone. A self-service grill warmer has also been installed, offering fresh grilled dishes, including meat, vegetarian options, and side dishes.
Lighting has been upgraded to energy-efficient LED technology, and new conveyor belt checkouts make shopping easier. The store is easily accessible, with public parking spaces in front. The supermarket offers about 8,000 products and employs 16 team members.
SPAR Hungary invested €2.5 million in the modernisation of its supermarket in Ajka. With a retail sales area of 838m², the supermarket now includes new refrigeration units, fruit and vegetable racks, bakery fixtures, and updated cash registers.
The entrance area features fresh vegetables, convenience products, special offers, dairy products, and a selection of delicacies. Bakery products are displayed on functional and customer-friendly counters, and a self-service grill expands the fresh food offer.
Technical upgrades include energy-efficient LED lighting, a carbon dioxide-based, environmentally friendly cooling system, and photovoltaic panels generate energy, all supporting more sustainable operations.
The supermarket offers about 9,500 items, including local products from the Regional Treasures (Régiók Kincsei) programme. Finally, this store provides employment for 26 team members.
The modernised SPAR Supermarket located on Nefelejcs Street in Budapest’s 18th district reopened after a €2.49 million investment. As part of the renovation, the sales area was expanded by 174m², bringing the total to 939m². The supermarket now features new equipment, updated design elements, and very important, for customers there are improved shopping routes.
The interior has been redesigned to ensure that fresh products, including vegetables, bakery items, and grilled foods, are easily accessible. In addition to a prominent special offer zone, shoppers can now navigate the well-organised dairy and meat sections with ease. A wide selection of packaged fresh delicacies offers a convenient solution for quick shopping.
As a new service, the supermarket now features a self-service grill warmer, allowing customers to quickly and conveniently choose fresh, warm meals. The supermarket offers 9,300 items and employs 18 team members. Three staffed and four self-service checkouts ensure fast and efficient service.
Additionally, new refrigeration units, LED lighting, and a carbon dioxide-based cooling system have been installed.
