Download imageSPAR Hungary has invested over €1.98 million to modernise the INTERSPAR in Pápa, located in the Prémium Centre shopping centre. The 4,100m² hypermarket now reflects the latest INTERSPAR design concept, focusing on modernity and customer comfort. The refrigeration equipment for dairy products, frozen goods, meat, and vegetables has been replaced, while the non-food sections feature new fixtures and décor. Freshly grilled dishes are now available from self-service hot counters, and the Borvilág (Wine World) and drinks departments have been refreshed to offer an improved shopping experience.
In line with SPAR Hungary’s sustainability goals, energy-efficient LED lighting has been installed throughout the store.
This year, the INTERSPAR brand celebrates its 30th anniversary in Hungary. Over the past three decades, the hypermarket format has become a symbol of stability, quality, and support for Hungarian producers. Today, it remains a key pillar of SPAR Hungary’s modern retail strategy.
The SPAR supermarket on Fényi Gyula Square in Miskolc has reopened after a full renovation worth around €1.67 million. The 644m² supermarket now features modern fixtures, a refreshed design, and an expanded range of services. At the entrance, customers find the fruit and vegetables department and a prominent promotional zone. From there, the shopping route leads past convenience food, dairy products, and deli counters to the bakery and self-service grill area, where freshly prepared grilled dishes add to the offering. The renewed deli counter also offers a wide selection of cold cuts, cheeses, and fresh meat products.
